Single Camera Techniques - 2 Minute Scene in 'Peep Show'

I analysed the first two minutes from an episode of peep show and the majority of camera shots are the same throughout the two minutes, the shots within the two minute scene are all two shots, which are either close up or medium close ups. I think this is an effective for this show because its makes you feel as if you are there and makes the humor in the show feel like its directed towards the viewer of the TV programme and also more realistic.

The use of sound in the two minute scene is clever because they have music in the background very quietly so you can mainly hear the voices which contributes towards the realism of the comedy.
